Welcome to Delta Chi.

On October 13, 1890 eleven law students of Cornell University founded Delta Chi. They created a fraternity based on the values of education, justice, character, and friendship; values that exist at the very core of every active and alumnus today. As the fraternity spread, the values intensified as Delta Chi expanded its actions of advancing justice and developing friendship by becoming the first national fraternity to officially abolish the practices associated with pledging and "hell week" in its constitution. All members of Lehigh Delta Chi are held accountable for their actions and live by the mission statement: "We are here to exemplify the original characteristics of a fraternity. Through our social and academic interactions with a variety of organizations, students, and faculty alike, we are developing our brothers to be leaders as alumniĀ." At Lehigh's Delta Chi we pride ourselves on our unique opportunities for leadership and our strong stance against hazing. We develop gentlemen and offer all those who join an experience not only to gain fulfillment during their college lives, but one that continues on through their lives as professionals and alumni.
